Some Backgound on Earl Nightingale In Chicago in 1960, Earl Nightingale and his partner, Lloyd Conant, formed the Nightingale-Conant Corp. to pioneer the field of self improvement on tape.At the time, Earl had already scored earlier successes in radio, television and life insurance. In 1956, he had written the esay that was to become the LP titled The Strangest Secret. First recorded at CBS and then produced by Columbia records, this essay became the first spoken message ever to receive a Gold Record for selling more than one million copies.But the best was yet to come. He created many best selling audio cassette albums for Nightingale Conant. He wrote more that 7000 daily broadcasts of Our Changing World, starred in many television programs, and wrote two other books and countless speeches. Won the Napoleon Hill Foundation Gold Medal Award for literary excellence and the Golden Gavel Award from Toastmaster International. Inducted into the International Speakers Hall of Fame and the Radio Hall of Fame. Earl Nightingale died on March 28, 1989. Today, through video and audiocasssette, Earl Nightingale, the dean of personal development, continues to inspire millions of success minded people.
